For example, immunotherapy drugs, such as checkpoint inhibitors and adoptive T-cell therapy, have shown promising results in the treatment of advanced melanoma. Prevention efforts continue to be a key focus in the fight against skin cancer. Public health campaigns and education programs are promoting sun-safe behaviors, such as wearing protective clothing and using sunscreen.
